q: how do I obtain my OSUMO frequency card?
a: visit an OSUMO and ask for an application form. fill in the application form and hand it to the cashier. you will be given your frequency card immediately.

q: is the information i give on my registration form confidential?
q: yes. all information is subject to stringent data protection regulations.


q. how much does the card cost?
a. the card is free.


q. how much do i get back on my frequency card?
a. you get 5% of the bill credited to your card. so if your bill was R 100 you will be credited R 5.


q. how is this reflected on my card?
a. you get credited in bites, 1 bite equals 1 cent. so if you are credited with 5 rand you will receive 500 bites.


q: i am currently employed at OSUMO; can i belong to the loyalty scheme?
a: no.


q: will my membership number change for any reason?
a: the number will change should your card be lost or damaged.


q: how are my transactions recorded?
a: each time you visit an OSUMO, hand in your card when paying your bill. bites are earned and are credited to your account. it is important to keep all original accumulation receipts should you have any accumulation queries.


q: what if I forget to hand in my card on paying my bill?
a: call for a manager on duty and present him/her with your bill. the manager will arrange for your account to be credited with the bites earned on that visit.


q: i joined the loyalty program today; can i be credited for past meals had at an OSUMO?
a: no.


q: do my frequency bites expire?
a: yes. bites expire 18 months from date of accumulation.


q. how do i redeem (spend) my bites?
a. go to any OSUMO and have a meal. when presented with the bill, produce your frequency card and tell the cashier the amount of bites you wish to redeem from your account as full or part payment of the bill.


q: can I use my bites to dine at any restaurants other than an OSUMO?
a: no, bites accumulated on your OSUMO frequency card can only be redeemed at OSUMO.


q: can i exchange my bites for cash?
a: no, the bites can only be redeemed against a meal had an OSUMO.


q: what are “incentive rewards”?
a: companies can now "buy" bites directly from OSUMO, to use as gifts, prises and incentives for their staff and customers. for more information please contact the OSUMO manager.


q: how do i report a lost card or damaged card?
a: pop into OSUMO and ask for a replacement cards.


q: is there a cost for lost or damaged membership cards?
a: lost or damaged cards will be replaced free of charge. however, if you wish your new card to be couriered, you will need to cover this cost.


q: how can i get a balance of my accumulated bites?
a: your balance can be obtained in three ways:
1. on your next visit, hand your membership card to a cashier and ask for a balance.
2. obtain you balance on the Internet.


q: how do i check my bites balance on the internet?
a: go to www.osumo.co.za and click on "register" and register your cards number and password. once you have registered, click on “statement” key in your membership number and password.

 

q: what do i use my pin (personal identification number) for?
a: to log on to www.osumo.co.za for all existing and future interactive transactions, including access to your account summary.


q: what if i lose my pin?
a: visit www.osumo.co.za and email the program administrator.


q: what other correspondence can i expect?
a: from time to time you will receive correspondence in the form of sms, e-mail or newsletter. should you wish not to receive this correspondence, click on the unsubscribe link or send a reply to the sms with the word “remove”.
